Author's Note

Hopelessly, I'm taking a mental picture of you now, 'cause hopelessly the hope is that we have so much to feel good about.

30 Day Film Challenge

An easy way to kill 5minutes of my day.

Day 1: Your favourite film
I have about 6 films that I can't really decide between but right now I've got to say Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part II.

Day 2: Your least favourite film
Bit tricky - usually if I don't think I'll like a film I'll avoid it but I'd read the books so I went to see Eclipse and it was atrocious.

Day 3: a film you watch to feel good
Easy. Mamma Mia - best feel good film EVER!

Day 4: A film you watch to feel down
That's a bit weird ... The Notebook

Day 5: a film that remind you of someone
Ghostbusters :P

Day 6: a film that reminds you of somewhere
Angels & Demons - all filmed in Rome and the Vatican where I went in 2006 with school :) Awesome film too! Tom Hanks = nom

Day 7: a film that reminds you of your past
Torn between like every Disney film. Gonna go for 101 Dalmatians

Day 8: the film you can quote best
Haha, "... and in the morning, I'm making waffles!" Shrek !!

Day 9: a film with you favourite actor
I'm going to be clever here and say Love Actually as it has both Alan Rickman AND Colin Firth in it. Sadly never in the same scene but still  - om nom nom :D

Day 10: a film with your favourite actress
Mrs Julie Walters. I love this woman. Have already put Mamma Mia though and should probably avoid Harry Potter so will have to say Calendar Girls.

Day 11: a film by your favourite Director
Not really that up on my directors but Richard Curtis is pretty awesome and wrote/directed the Boat That Rocked

Day 12: a film by your least favourite director
Don't pay enough attention to directors tbh. Although I remember they went on about Burn After Reading being amazing because it was directed by the Coen brothers and it was shit.

Day 13: A guilty pleasure
Truly, Madly, Deeply ... <3 Alan Rickman

Day 14: The film that no-one would expect you to like
Gladiator. One of my all time favourites. Soundtrack is incredible.

Day 15: the film that depicts your life
Not so much anymore but when I was 13/14 Angus Thongs and Perfect Snogging is pretty much was my life.

Day 16: A film that you used to love and now hate
It shames me to say it but Twilight. Only the first one. The rest I knew were shit from the beginning.

Day 17: your favourite drama film
Not entirely sure what counts as a drama but let's whack King's Speech in coz it's awesome

Day 18: your favourite comedy film
Ah, there's so many!!! Bridget Jones' Diary

Day 19: your favourite action film
Er ... no idea. Avatar

Day 20: your favourite romantic film
Hmmmmm ... oh I've already put Love Actually. The Holiday then.

Day 21: favourite sci-fi/fantasy
Ok so I guess I've already used the best one for this with Avatar so will say Lord of the Rings: Return of the King

Day 22: your favourite horror film
I don't do scary films. But Woman in Black in coming out soon and I loved that in theatre so I'll say potentially that!

Day 23: your favourite thriller/mystery film
Sherlock Holmes is pretty mysterious. And has Jude Law. nom :)

Day 24: your favourite animated/childrens film
Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron - brilliant film!

Day 25: your favourite documentary film
That's a bit weird. I'm gonna ignore the word "film" and just whack in my favourite "documentary" ... LION MAN!

Day 26: your favourite foreign language film
The only one I've seen, although I'm still not entirely sure what happens - Goodbye Lenin

Day 27: your favourite independent film
Er, what? *googles* ooh, Donnie Darko

Day 28: the most obscure film you've ever seen
There's a few I'm sure but the one that I remember most recently is the Secret of NIMH. Freaky shit.

Day 29: your favourite film as a kid
Seeing as I've already put 101 Dalmatians will have to say Lion King

Day 30: Your favourite film this time last year
Absolutely no idea. Scott Pilgrim was out this time last year ... even though I only just saw it a few weeks ago.
